FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas –The Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) Exchange is offering military children ages 4-12 the chance to receive Disney-approved Jedi training at 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) Clear Creek Main Store.
During each session, Jedis-in-training will learn how to wield a light saber, be trained in the ways of the Force and receive an official certificate stating they have completed the training. Robes and light sabers will be provided, though participants may show up in costumes of their own.
The Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) Exchange provides events like Jedi at the Exchange to give military families a sense of community and an opportunity to make memories together that will last a lifetime. This supports the Exchange’s mission to bring military families together through quality goods and services. An estimated 250 children will attend this event with fully-costumed Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion, an international Star Wars costuming organization.
