Over 200 soldiers and civilians have volunteered to participate in the Army’s annual Ten-Miler run being held here on Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos). Typically, the run is conducted in our nation’s capital by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington, but this year COVID mitigations have required the run to be conducted virtually.
It will begin at 6 a.m. on Cooper Field.
Media desiring to cover the run must RSVP to MSG Miriam Espinoza at Miriam.espinozatorres.mil@mail.mil no later than 3p.m on Oct. 14th.
Media attending will conduct a COVID screening prior to entry on Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) and must provide their own masks.
A public affairs representative will meet the media at the south parking lot of Marvin Leath Visitors Center located on T. J. Mills Blvd. at 6:00 a.m. for an escort to the event.
