FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – Fort Cavazos is hosting the opening of the Phantom Centralized HUB at the Iron Horse Warrior Restaurant at 11 a.m. on July 15, 2024.
The Phantom Centralized HUB will modernize and efficiently provide meals to Soldiers across Fort Cavazos. The three efforts from the Phantom Centralized Hub include Phantom Fresh, Culinary Outpost Food Truck operations and the installation meal preparation.
Phantom Fresh will be the program that enables Soldiers to access food in a “to-go” or airport kiosk manner. Fresh food will stock the shelves, allowing Soldiers to grab-and-go necessary meals during the duty day.
Currently, two outpost food trucks are playing a crucial role in supporting Soldiers across Fort Cavazos. They provide meals at the Lonestar Conference Center and the 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense parking lot bridging the gap of Soldier’s access to food at those locations. Operations for these food trucks and future food trucks will be from the Phantom Centralized Hub.
The installation meal preparation program allows Soldiers to select foods for pick-up, allowing them to have tailored access to meals as needed. Soldiers will select foods online, have them created at the Phantom Centralized Hub, and have them delivered to the Soldier’s closest Warrior Restaurant for pick-up.
Media who wish to cover the event should e-mail the III Armored Corps Public Affairs office at usarmy.cavazos.iii-corps.list.pao-internal@army.mil and meet at Marvin Leath Visitor Center at 10:15 a.m. on July 15, 2024.
