Military Members Can Tee Off with the Best in Military Long Drive Competition at Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos)
Who: Active-duty, Reserve and retired service members.
What: The World Long Drive competition is debuting a qualifying event for military members with the help of the Army & Air Force Exchange Service and Army Installation Command (IMCOM). Military members can compete at Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) for a $500 Pro Shop gift card and an all-expenses-paid trip to Fort Jackson for the Military Long Drive Competition Championship May 5 to 7. The winner of the Fort Jackson Championship Event will win $10,000 and a place in the Volvik World Long Drive competition, airing live on the Golf Channel, in September.
When: Monday, April 8 at 2 p.m.
Where: The Courses of Clear Creek, Battalion Avenue and Clear Creek Road, Bldg. 52381, Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos).
