FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas— Nationally recognized, mixed martial arts athlete, Josh Koshcheck will be sharing some of his fighting techniques when he visits the Soldiers of 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team “Greywolf”, 1st Cavalry Division here on Feb. 6.
Koshcheck will participate in the Briagde’s esprit de corps run officially announcing the return of the Brigade from its nine month deployment. Following the run, Koshcheck will demonstrate some close combat fighting techniques to Greywolf Soldiers.
Best known for his appearance on the debut season of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter, Koshcheck has twenty-five professional fights under his belt. This is also his second time visiting with the troopers of Greywolf Brigade.
The Brigade recently returned from a nine month deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Spartan Shield. Greywolf Soldiers have spent the past months receiving and resetting their equipment and is currently preparing for gunnery to sustain readiness.
