FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas — The 1st Cavalry Division’s 120th Quartermaster Company is scheduled to be evaluated here January 22 as part of the Department of the Army’s Phillip A. Connelly Field Feeding Competition.
The 120th will convoy to the training location where they will be evaluated as they prepare dinner in a Mobile Kitchen Trailer.
An additional Mobile Kitchen Trailer will be delivered by Chinook to the training area. Once the MKT is on the ground the team will set up the kitchen and use it to cook breakfast the following morning.
Media will be able to shoot footage of convoy operations to the training site, meal preparation at the training site, and the arrival and sling load operations involving the aircraft delivered MKT.

Attending media should meet at the media parking area at the Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) Welcome Center on T.J. Mills Blvd. no later than 2:15 p.m. January 22.
