FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — The 3d Cavalry Regiment is scheduled to hold a change of command  and change of responsibility ceremony at 9 a.m. May 25 on Cooper Field.

Col. Kevin D. Bradley will relinquish command to Col. Jeffrey J. Barta. Barta comes to the Brave Rifles Team from Europe where he served as the chief of current operations for the United States Army European Command.

Command Sgt. Maj. Jason P. Dein will relinquish responsibility to Command Sgt. Maj. Mikeal A. McInroy, who served as the command sergeant major for 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division.

Media attending should meet in the south side parking lot of the Fort Cavazos visitors center on T.J. Mills Blvd. no later than 8 a.m. on the morning of May 25.
