The 1st Cavalry Division will host a Patch Ceremony to welcome Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Kenny as the First Team’s highest-ranking enlisted Soldier.

Kenny comes to the division after being the 25th Command Sergeant Major of the United States Corps of Cadets at West Point and replaces Command Sgt. Maj. Shane Pospisil who left the division in July to be the I Corps Command Sergeant Major.

The ceremony will be held Thursday, September 26th at 4:30 p.m. at Cooper Field on Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos).
