FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas — More than 200 Troopers from the 1st Cavalry Division’s 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team are scheduled to depart Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) on Saturday for their rotation in Europe.
This is the first major flight out since the brigade cased its colors on May 9.
The Ironhorse brigade is beginning a nine-month rotation, primarily based in Germany, in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
