Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas – The 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division is scheduled to conduct a change of command ceremony April 12 at 9:30 a.m. on Cooper Field here.
Col. Wilson R. Rutherford IV, brigade commander, will relinquish command to Col. Michael D. Schoenfeldt.
Schoenfeldt will be available for a brief interview immediately following the ceremony.
