FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas – The U.S. Army Forces Command Deputy Commanding General Lt. Gen. Lee Quintas will host a Farewell Ceremony for Maj. Gen. Kenneth L. Kamper, deputy commanding general for maneuverers, III Corps and Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos), at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at the III Corps flag pole.
Kamper is leaving for his next assignment as commanding general, U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Kamper will be replaced by Maj. Gen. Scott L. Efflandt, deputy commanding general, III Corps and Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas, as the deputy commanding general for maneuverers, III Corps and Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas.
