FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — Soldiers from 3d Cavalry Regiment will conduct squad live-fire training March 12 here. The event will feature opportunities to photograph and film the live-fire exercise up close. Media can also interview the squadron commander, troop commander and Soldiers participating in the training.
A squad live-fire exercise is a comprehensive training event where a team of Soldiers navigates a simulated battlefield, engaging targets and practicing tactical maneuvers while firing live ammunition. This type of exercise allows 3d Cavalry Regiment to hone their combat skills and build confidence in their ability to operate in high-stress environments. The exercise is a critical component of Army training, helping to prepare Soldiers for modern combat.
Accredited media wishing to attend should RSVP by emailing iiicorpspaoops@army.mil no later than 12 p.m. March 11. A public affairs representative will meet attendees at the Marvin Leath Visitors Center on T.J. Mills Boulevard at 8:30 a.m. March 12 for an escort to the training site.
