FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas – Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy will visit Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) on Aug. 5 and 6 in order to engage with local civilian and military leadership and to conduct sensing sessions with enlisted soldiers and junior officers.
The secretary will hold a press conference with the media at 12:00 p.m. Aug. 6 to discuss the Army’s efforts to address the recent events at Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos).
On Aug 6 a public affairs representative will meet the media at the south parking lot of Marvin Leath Visitors Center located on T. J. Mills Blvd. at 10:30 a.m. for an escort to the noon event.
