Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) officials host groundbreaking ceremony for new Mission Training Complex

FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas – The III Corps deputy commanding general for support will host a Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) Mission Training Complex Groundbreaking Ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 9 near Murphy Road and 62nd Street here.

Maj. Gen. Doug Chalmers will preside over ceremony. This $63 million project was awarded to MW Builders Inc. from Temple, Texas. The project is expected to be completed in early 2020.

The new MTC will support individual through collective, simulation-driven mission command training for III Corps and Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) units.
