This $63 million construction project in the vicinity of West Range Road and Murphy Road will support Soldiers through collective, simulation-driven mission command training for III Corps and Fort Hood (Now designated Fort Cavazos) units.
Retired Army Gen. Richard E. Cavazos, a former III Corps commanding general, was a Korean War recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross as a first lieutenant and the Army’s first Hispanic four-star general.
The contractor, MW Builders, from Temple, Texas, estimates the facility will open in later part of summer 2020.
