FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas – Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center is hosting a Facebook Live Town Hall to provide a COVID-19 vaccine update and respond to questions submitted by beneficiaries. The town hall will be from 3-4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22.
Hospital leaders expect to expand the vaccine distribution soon, increasing the voluntary immunization opportunity to larger numbers of beneficiaries.
Col. Richard G. Malish, medical center commander and emergency operation team members, will discuss vaccine safety, vaccination sites, and the process beneficiaries will follow to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
CRDAMC is currently administering the vaccine to health care workers, first responders, and high-risk population in accordance with the CDC guidelines and DOD COVID-19 distribution plan.
