FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – Army units will conduct live-fire training exercises as part of ongoing readiness and planning from 1-4 p.m. June 4 at North Fort Cavazos near Flat, Texas.

The training may result in loud explosions and reverberations that may occasionally be heard in the surrounding communities.

“Fort Cavazos is dedicated to being a good neighbor,” said Chris Haug, Fort Cavazos Public Affairs director. “We strive to balance our training requirements while respecting our neighboring communities which is why we will continue to inform the public about these training events.”
