FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – Fort Cavazos will host an assumption of responsibility ceremony at 9 a.m. Oct. 4 at the III Armored Corps Headquarters West Atrium.
Command Sgt. Maj. Loyd A. Rhoades will assume the responsibilities as the garrison command sergeant major.
Rhoades has served and led in every critical leadership capacity from forward observer to brigade command sergeant major. He most recently served as the brigade command sergeant major for the 1st Cavalry Division Artillery here.
Media wishing to attend the event should RSVP by phone at 254-291-2317 by 3 p.m. Oct. 3.
On Oct. 4, media should meet public affairs representatives at 8:15 a.m. at the south side parking lot of the Marvin Leath Visitors’ Center for an escort to the event.
