FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – Fort Cavazos joins family members and friends in recognizing recent post-secondary graduates during a graduation ceremony at 1 p.m. on Oct. 24 at Howze Auditorium.

Approximately 90 students who have achieved a degree or certificate from a post-secondary education institution, or who will be within nine semester hours of completion by Oct. 24, will be recognized during the ceremony.

The event allows families and friends to celebrate their graduate’s accomplishments when scheduling conflicts prevent them from doing so in person at their respective schools. It also gives students who have been taking courses remotely the opportunity to commemorate their achievements in person with their community.

Media wishing to attend the event should RSVP by phone at 254-449-5298 by 3 p.m. on Oct. 23. A Fort Cavazos public affairs representative will meet media at 12:15 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the Marvin Leath Visitors Center and escort the media members to the event.
