FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – Fort Cavazos Child and Youth Services is set to host the Fort Cavazos Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Skills Meet in partnership with sponsoring units and community organizations from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. March 8 at Abrams Physical Fitness Center.
More than 600 cadets from 21 high schools, from Fort Worth to Austin, will be competing for the title of best JROTC program in Central Texas. The annual event provides the opportunity for area high school JROTC cadets to represent their school and showcase the skills they have learned in armed and unarmed drill team, an academic challenge and male and female color guard.
