FORT CAVAZOS, Texas — All tactical low water crossings remain closed, and there is an increased risk of flooding across the Central Texas area.

Please avoid driving through roadways with standing water if you cannot clearly see the bottom. Remember, turn around, don’t drown, and stay aware of the changing weather conditions.

A cluster of thunderstorms are impacting Central Texas this morning and mainly impact areas west of I-35 with additional storms expected to develop farther east later today. Although some storms could be strong, severe weather is not expected at this time. Storm activity is likely to continue into the evening.
