FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center administrative offices and clinics will consolidate services on the Solar Eclipse Day. Emergency, inpatient care, surgeries, GI and pulmonary procedures, and labor and delivery services will not be affected and remain open April 8.
The main hospital, Thomas Moore Health Clinic, and the emergency department pharmacies will remain open.
The Killeen, Copperas Cove, Russell Collier, West Killeen, and Harker Heights Community Based Medical Homes, and the hospital’s pediatric clinic, will consolidate care at the Family Medicine Residency Clinic on the first floor of the main hospital at 590 Medical Center Road.
Monroe, Bennett, Troop Medical Clinic 14, and the Yoakum-Defrenn Army Heliport Medical Home (formerly TMC 12) Soldier Centered Health Clinics will consolidate care at the Thomas Moore Health Clinic on the corner of 58th St. and 761st Tank Battalion Avenue building 2245.
All dental clinics will consolidate for Sick Call care only at the Fairbank Dental Clinic at 2012 E. Legends Way, building 9440.
The Outpatient Mental/Behavioral Health clinics will consolidate care at the Multidisciplinary Clinic in the main hospital on the third floor.
CRDAMC urges all beneficiaries that have appointments scheduled and are not planning to attend those appointments on the Solar Eclipse Day, to please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible by calling Patient Appointing Services at (254) 288-8888 or through the Patient Portal at patientportal.mhsgenesis.health.mil. Beneficiaries planning to keep those appointments should give themselves extra time for travel due to anticipated heavy traffic.

All CRDAMC clinics and pharmacies will resume normal operations on Tuesday, 9 April.
