FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – The pharmacies associated with Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center are in the process of upgrading their filling and verifying prescription operations from ScriptPro to the NEXiA system. These changes will affect the main hospital, Clear Creek PX, as well as the Soldier Centered and Community Based Medical Homes.
Already in place since 25 March, the main hospital, pediatric, and emergency department pharmacies have started using the NEXiA system. Please expect extended waiting periods as our pharmacy staff continue to train and adjust to the new system. The other pharmacies will move to this system as well over the upcoming weeks.
The Clear Creek PX pharmacy will be closed on 13 April to install equipment then open the doors on 15 April with the NEXiA system. Beginning 15 April, our Community Based Medical Homes in Copperas Cove, Killeen, and Harker Heights will start with the new system. On 29 April, our Thomas Moore, Monroe, Bennett, Russell Collier, West Killeen, and TMC14 Soldier Centered pharmacies will start utilizing the new system.
