FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – The Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center administrative offices and clinics will modify hours of operation Dec. 25 – Jan. 2 in observance of the upcoming holidays. Emergency services, inpatient care, and labor and delivery services will not be affected and remain open every day.
All pharmacies and clinics will be closed on the holidays Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Clinics
Monroe and Bennett Health Clinics will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. Active-duty service members enrolled in Monroe or Bennett Health Clinics should seek care at the Thomas Moore Health Clinic those days.
The Killeen, Russell Collier, West Killeen, and Harker Heights Community Based Medical Homes, Thomas Moore, Troop Medical Clinic 12 & 14 Soldier Centered Medical Homes, CRDAMC Internal Medicine, Family Medicine Residency and Pediatric clinics and services will be open Thursday, Dec. 26, and Jan. 2. Copperas Cove Medical Home is temporarily closed.
Behavioral Health Clinics
All outpatient Behavioral Health clinics will consolidate to OBH Clinic 5 on Dec. 24 only, for Soldier care from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. All scheduled patients and walk-in patients will be seen by their regularly scheduled provider at OBH clinic 5 building 2255, or the Kennedy Building. All patients seen at the multidisciplinary clinic will report to their regularly scheduled provider at CRDAMC on the 3rd floor of the hospital.
Pharmacies
Monroe and Bennett pharmacies will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2
All other pharmacies are unaffected and will be open normal operating hours.
Clear Creek PX Pharmacy will be open Dec. 28 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
All other pharmacies will be closed.
All CRDAMC clinics and pharmacies will resume normal operations Jan. 3.
TRICARE Prime enrollees with urgent, emergent care needs should seek assistance at the CRDAMC emergency department.

This advice line affords Fort Cavazos area residents, entitled to military health care, the opportunity to talk with registered nurses about their specific urgent health issues, guidance on non-emergency situations and information about self-care for injuries or illnesses.
Beneficiaries can make or cancel appointments through the Patient Portal at patientportal.mhsgenesis.health.mil or by calling the Patient Appointment Service at 254-288-8888. Through this patient portal, beneficiaries can also request pharmacy refills, and access health information like laboratory results, radiology results and immunization records.
