Established in 1947, the Medical Service Corps is composed of medical, administrative, scientific, and provider specialties ranging from the management and support of the Army’s health services system to direct patient care. Its mission is providing Army Medicine with a diverse and multidisciplinary team of professionals who “strengthen the Military Health System through responsive and reliable clinical, scientific, and administrative services across the full spectrum of conflict as part of the Joint Force.”
