FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas – Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center’s primary care and specialty clinics will modify operating hours in observance of the extended Labor Day weekend. The Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery and Inpatient services are open 24 hours a day.
Primary and Urgent Care Services
Friday, Sept. 1
A consolidated primary care clinic will be held in Family Medicine Residency Clinic (FMRC) at the main hospital from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. All active–duty Soldiers, Family members and retirees enrolled to other medical clinics can receive appointments for care at FMRC.
Internal Medicine and Pediatric clinics will be open.
Beneficiaries can make or cancel appointments through TRICARE online at www.tricareonline.com or by calling Patient Appointment Service at 254.288.8888.
After Hours clinic located at Thomas Moore Health clinic will be closed Friday through Monday. Beneficiaries with urgent or emergency care needs should seek assistance at the CRDAMC Emergency Department.
Monday, Sept. 4
All CRDAMC primary care and specialty clinics will be closed Monday, Sept. 4 in observance of the Federal holiday.

Main hospital pharmacy will be open 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Clear Creek Pharmacy will be open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 2
Clear Creek Pharmacy will be open 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 3
All pharmacies closed.
Monday, Sept. 4
Clear Creek Pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
CRDAMC clinics and pharmacies will resume normal operations on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
