About Izis:
Izis is a Puerto Rico native, an Army Brat, a US Army Registered Nurse, an entrepreneur/CEO of Cocolawear.com, musician, songwriter, and singer. “Music has always been a passion of mine since I can remember. I began my musical journey playing the flute and singing in the church choir. I focused more on my singing after I met my husband Luis Rosario who has been in the music scene for over 35 years as a promoter. He believed in my singing talent and has been one of my biggest motivators and fans. I have been blessed to sing with artist like Tito Puente Jr., Maelo Ruiz, Yoko la Japonesa Salsera, amongst many others. I have performed at the Essence Festival in Louisiana, in various Riverwalk official Fiesta events, I have sang the national anthem in many military as well as civilian ceremonies. It is always an honor to sing the National Anthem at events such as the first National Amputee Boxing match, the change of command of the current Surgeon General, LTG Horoho and many more. Singing for the 8,000 in attendance in Houston and singing here in a local restaurant all give me as much pleasure and honor…”
