FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas – Army Recruiting hosted the U.S. Army Basic Training Experience on Sadowski Parade Field here March 3 for more than 9,000  high school students across Texas.

The Basic Training Experience included a “Drill Sergeant Experience,” “New Army Combat Fitness Test,” and “Army Obstacle Course Team Building.”

The career expo  educated students on more than 45 Army programs and career fields. There was also  demonstrations performed by air assault repel teams, Army firefighters, military working dogs, robotics, and medical teams.
