FORT CAVAZOS, Texas – Fort Cavazos will host its 49th annual Retiree Appreciation Days Oct. 25-26 on post to honor military retirees from all branches for their service.
A golf tournament will be held at the Courses of Clear Creek Oct. 25 at 9 a.m. Golfers must register at the course to participate, and lunch will be provided for all registered participants.
Legal assistance will be available for retirees from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 25 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 in Building 13, located on 52nd Street, west of the III Armored Corps headquarters building.
On Oct. 26, retirees can start their day with coffee and pastries at 8 a.m. on the first floor of Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center. The opening ceremony will follow at 9 a.m. The medical center will also host a County Fair and the CRDAMC Health Fair the same day, offering immunizations and routine health screenings, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Lunch will be available for $7.65 per person from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Theodore Roosevelt Warrior Restaurant.
ID card services will be offered for retirees and their family members from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 in Bldg. 130, at the corner of T.J. Mills Boulevard and Legends Way.
