FORT HOOD (Now designated Fort Cavazos), Texas — More than 350 Soldiers from the 1st Cavalry Division and 1st Armored Combat Brigade Team deployed in support of Atlantic Resolve in Europe will arrive back home July 16.
Soldiers from the 1st Armored Combat Brigade Team and 1st Cavalry Division staff will come home after participating in the Atlantic Resolve mission across Europe. The 1st CD Staff served as the headquarters for rotating units in Poznan, Poland, for 15 months. 1st ABCT Soldiers were deployed for a nine-month rotation and were spread across Europe.
The ceremony for the arriving Soldiers will be held at Cooper Field at the 1st Cavalry Division Headquarters at 11 p.m.
